Family (divorce, separation, visitation, elder, parent-teen)

Civil (landlord-tenant, contract for services, roommates, never-married property division, debts, neighborhood issues, animals)

Criminal (victim must agree to mediate; cases screened through DA and/or judge: neighbors, workplace, family members)

Organizational (internal disputes between board and staff, between staff members, between volunteers and staff, merges and splits, disputes between organizations)
